Second, silicate plate
Silicate plates are composed of Portland cement and fiber reinforced materials. Portland cement is a special kind of cement, made of limestone, silica and other raw materials after high temperature calcination. Silicate plate because of its excellent fire resistance, chemical resistance and tensile strength.
Advantages of silicate plate:
1, fire resistance: silicate plate has excellent fire resistance, can effectively resist high temperature, has good fire resistance.
2, chemical corrosion resistance: silicate plate in the environment of common chemical substances has good stability, not easy to chemical corrosion.

Disadvantages of silicate plate:

3, poor processing performance: due to the high hardness of silicate plate, difficult to process and cut, not easy to bond, so the silicate plate processing cost is high.
In summary, if you need to focus on thermal insulation performance and fire performance, and do not need to consider load-bearing, the project budget is sufficient, aerogel board may be more suitable. If you only need fire performance, you need to bear weight, silicate plate is more suitable.
