What is the national standard for aerogel insulation felt

Aerogel thermal insulation felt is a new kind of thermal insulation material, which is widely used in various thermal insulation fields. In order to regulate the production and use of aerogel thermal insulation felt, China has formulated the corresponding national standard - GBT34336-2017 "Nanopore aerogel composite thermal insulation products" was released in October 2017, and officially implemented on September 1, 2018.

"Nanopore Aerogel Composite Insulation Products" classifies aerogel products as follows:
Products according to the product form is divided into: felt, plate and shaped products
The products are divided into the following four categories according to the classification temperature: Type I, classification temperature 200℃; Type II, classification temperature 450℃; Type III, classification temperature 650℃; Type IV, the nominal classification temperature by the manufacturer is greater than 650℃. Note: The long-term use temperature is generally 50~150℃ lower than the classification temperature.
Products according to thermal conductivity is divided into A, B, S class.
The thermal conductivity requirements of aerogel products are as follows:

Aerogel products combustion performance grade: shall meet the requirements of nominal GB 8624-2012 combustion performance grade, and type I shall not be lower than B1(C), type II, type III, type IV shall not be lower than A(A2).
Aerogel products heating permanent line change: Type I, type II, type III should not be less than -2.0%, type IV should not be less than -5.0%.
Aerogels vibration quality loss rate: should not be greater than 1.0%.
Appearance of aerogel felt: The surface should be smooth, and there should be no scars, stains and damage that hinder the use of aerogel felt. Dimensions and permissible deviations are shown in the following table:


Aerogel felt volume density: The deviation between the measured volume density and the nominal volume density should not be greater than 20%.
Aerogel felt compression rebound rate: should not be less than 90%.
Aerogel felt tensile strength: the transverse and longitudinal tensile strength of type I, Ⅱ and Ⅲ should not be less than 200kPa, and the transverse and longitudinal tensile strength of type Ⅳ should not be less than 2lkPa.
In addition, aerogel felt products should meet the requirements of flexibility. When there are waterproof and moisture-proof requirements, the mass moisture absorption rate should not be greater than 5.0%, the volume water absorption rate should not be greater than 1.0%, and the hydrophobic rate should not be less than 98.0%. When there is a load-bearing requirement, the compression strength of the aerogel felt product at 25% deformation should not be less than 80kPa.
